This service is operated by myCookPrint (mycookprint.com), contact@mycookprint.com.
2. Data We Process
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| IP address | Rate limiting (abuse prevention). Two layers: (1) the web server holds the raw binary IP in a short-lived in-memory counter; (2) the application stores only an anonymized version of IP + User-Agent, not the raw address. | Legitimate interest (GDPR 6(1)(f) and nFADP 31(2)(c)). | Held in memory only (never written to disk); cleared on server restart, typically within minutes |
| Recipe URL you submit | Extract recipe data; store result in database; potentially publish publicly after manual review | Your consent (GDPR 6(1)(a) and nFADP 6(1) and 31(1)) | Indefinitely, unless deletion is requested |
No other personal or user-submitted data is collected.
3. Third-Party Services
To analyse a submitted recipe URL, the page content is sent to an external service provided by Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland). The external service provides an AI inference API used to extract structured recipe data.
4. Publicly Shared Data
Extracted data from the recipes may be displayed publicly on this website after manual review by our team and made available via APIs. If your submitted URL points to content that you control and you wish it removed, please contact us.
5. Your Rights
Under the GDPR and Swiss nFADP you have the following rights:
- Right of access – you may request a copy of data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification – you may request correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure – you may request deletion of data we hold about you.
- Right to restriction of processing – you may request that we limit how we use your data.
- Right to data portability – you may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to withdraw consent – you may withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Right to object – you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these rights, contact contact@mycookprint.com. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Supervisory Authorities
If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with:
- EU residents: the data protection authority of your EU member state.

7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. The submitted URLs and extracted data are stored in a database on servers operated by Infomaniak in Switzerland.
